In Bangladesh, The World Bank support green education and enhance understanding of the green economy among the youths. The bank intends to run knowledge and quiz competitions among the student groups of the whole country. It expects to discover a core group of youths for leading the next generations of green growth in Bangladesh, which might have a spillover benefit to other countries. A digital platform will be created for managing the competitions. This would be done involving all interested students from Secondary, TVET, College, and University level institutions. The unit of competition will start from the sub-districts (Upazila). The districts, divisions, and national-level competitions will be arranged. It is expected to involve one million students directly in the process and reach out to at least 10 million visitors on social networks and electronic media.
